About

Perry Willemse

With admiration for people with a disability, Perry is dedicated to providing support where needed.
At a young age, he worked for a daycare respite centre for those with special needs. Perry walked from John O’Groats (North Scotland) to Land’s End (the southernmost point of England) to promote this unique organisation. He completed the 1540 km in less than 31 days and collected financial support to provide new equipment and products to optimise the quality of life for the clients. While one of his friends became diagnosed with a severe illness, he became even more aware of the day-to-day challenge people with a disability must overcome. ‘What is normal for us is an obstacle for them’.
Creating a new training module for care workers to provide the best possible service and optimise the quality of living is a beautiful challenge.
