The CRPG recently began implementing the “Sentido – Recovery and Updating of Skills for People with Experience of Mental Illness” programme. Implemented through group dynamics, this action is part of the CRPG’s vocational rehabilitation programme, which begins with a phase of getting to know and co-constructing each participant’s individual plan and continues until the effective professional reintegration.
People experiencing mental illness can face challenges such as difficulties concentrating and making decisions, reduced self-initiative, extreme exhaustion, social isolation and feelings of being misunderstood.
This programme was developed by CRPG with input from people experiencing mental illness, family members and experts in the field, and aims to promote a positive sense of life, enabling people to manage symptoms and obstacles, implement strategies against stigma, develop skills for better professional adaptation and return to work.
This action is carried out by a multidisciplinary team made up of specialists in psychology, occupational therapy, employability, arts, gardening and horticulture.
